OVERVIEW
Can the face of a museum speak to the city after its doors have closed?A two-night projection-mapping performance on the façade of the Lanna Folklife Museum, presented during Chiang Mai Design Week 2019.
The building is civic and it closes in the evening. The work extends its hours by putting light, graphics and sound onto the outside of it — nothing installed indoors, nothing altered, no ticket. For two nights the façade becomes a screen the whole street shares, and a museum that is shut is still, in a practical sense, open. The audience stands where it already was: on the pavement, in the cold season, looking up.

หลังประตูพิพิธภัณฑ์ปิดลง ด้านหน้าของอาคารยังพูดกับเมืองต่อได้ไหมการแสดงโปรเจกชันแมปปิงสองคืนบนผนังด้านหน้าพิพิธภัณฑ์พื้นถิ่นล้านนา จัดแสดงในเชียงใหม่ดีไซน์วีค 2562
อาคารเป็นของสาธารณะและปิดทำการในตอนเย็น งานชิ้นนี้ต่อเวลาของมันออกไปด้วยแสง กราฟิก และเสียงบนผิวด้านนอก ไม่มีการติดตั้งอะไรข้างใน ไม่มีการดัดแปลง และไม่มีบัตรเข้าชม สองคืนนั้นผนังด้านหน้ากลายเป็นจอที่คนทั้งถนนใช้ร่วมกัน และพิพิธภัณฑ์ที่ปิดอยู่ก็ยังเปิดในทางปฏิบัติ ผู้ชมยืนอยู่ตรงที่เขายืนอยู่แล้ว คือบนทางเท้า ในหน้าหนาว แล้วเงยหน้าขึ้นมอง อาคารไม่ได้ถูกแตะต้องเลยแม้แต่จุดเดียว มีเพียงเวลาของมันที่ถูกยืดออกไปอีกสองคืน
