The first year in a place is less about arriving with answers than learning what the ground will allow.The studio's first contribution to Wonderfruit, made with Keep Your Eyes On.
A festival that measures itself by its footprint sets different terms than a commercial event. Material is accounted for, structures are expected to be reused or composted, and the visual language has to work under those limits rather than around them. The vocabulary established here — organic surfaces, light used sparingly, nothing that cannot be taken down cleanly — is the one every later Wonderfruit year kept arguing with, which is what a first attempt is for.

เทศกาลที่วัดตัวเองด้วยร่องรอยที่ทิ้งไว้ตั้งเงื่อนไขต่างจากอีเวนต์เชิงพาณิชย์ วัสดุทุกชิ้นถูกนับ โครงสร้างต้องถูกนำกลับมาใช้ใหม่หรือย่อยสลายได้ และภาษาภาพต้องทำงานอยู่ภายใต้ข้อจำกัดนั้น ไม่ใช่หลบเลี่ยงมัน ชุดคำที่ถูกวางไว้ในปีนี้ ทั้งพื้นผิวจากวัสดุธรรมชาติ การใช้แสงเท่าที่จำเป็น และการไม่มีอะไรที่รื้อออกไม่ได้อย่างสะอาด คือชุดคำที่ Wonderfruit ทุกปีหลังจากนั้นเถียงกับมันมาตลอด ซึ่งเป็นหน้าที่ของความพยายามครั้งแรก
