OVERVIEW
In a year defined by absence, an almost empty image could say more than a crowded one.Visual work built around absence, produced in 2020 for the track Made From Kampee.
The imagery is kept quiet and largely empty — long holds, few elements, almost no movement — which was an accurate description of the year rather than a stylistic preference. Where most music visuals are made to fill a frame, this one is made around what has been taken out of it, and the pacing is set by how long a viewer will sit with an image that barely moves. The emptiness is not the background. It is the subject, and in 2020 it was the only thing that matched what the audience was living through.
