Light to Night Singapore 2023
Here and Now · Civic District
OVERVIEW
Taking a work abroad begins with a simple question: what can travel, and what must be remade on site?Work for Light to Night Singapore 2023, staged in the Civic District under the festival theme Here and Now.
The length of the run is the defining condition. Most festival pieces are built for a weekend and peak exactly once; this one had to repeat nightly over an extended period, on heritage architecture, in public space, with no chance to rebuild between showings. That changes everything that can be specified — equipment rated for continuous operation, alignment that holds without daily correction, and content that survives being seen twice by the same person.
The only project in the archive made outside Thailand.

Here and Now
