What changes when the screen is alive, filled with water and looking back at us?Projection mapped directly onto an aquarium tank at Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World.
Every assumption mapping depends on is unavailable. The image passes through glass and then through moving water, the refraction changes with the current, and the living subjects inside will not hold a position for anyone. Alignment can be calculated for the tank but never for its contents, so the work was built to survive being interrupted — designed around the fish crossing the frame rather than around a composition that needs them not to. The interruption is the piece.

ทุกสมมติฐานที่งานแมปปิงพึ่งพาอยู่ใช้ไม่ได้ที่นี่ ภาพต้องเดินทางผ่านกระจกแล้วผ่านน้ำที่ไหล การหักเหเปลี่ยนไปตามกระแสน้ำ และสิ่งมีชีวิตข้างในก็ไม่ยอมอยู่นิ่งให้ใคร การจัดภาพคำนวณให้ตู้ได้ แต่คำนวณให้สิ่งที่อยู่ในตู้ไม่ได้ งานจึงถูกสร้างขึ้นให้อยู่รอดจากการถูกขัดจังหวะ ออกแบบโดยคิดเผื่อปลาที่ว่ายตัดเฟรม แทนที่จะวางองค์ประกอบที่ต้องการให้ปลาไม่ว่ายผ่าน การขัดจังหวะนั้นเองคือตัวงาน เพราะสิ่งที่คนดูจำได้ ไม่ใช่ภาพที่ฉาย แต่เป็นจังหวะที่ปลาว่ายผ่านมันพอดี
