OVERVIEW
A window usually separates us from the city. Here, light brings the city back into the room.A site-specific lighting installation drawn from the shape of the city outside. The profile of the Witthayu–Lumphini skyline — its heights, its gaps, its setbacks — is traced in light and held inside the room.
The piece works against the window rather than with it. The view that normally stops at the glass is continued indoors, so the same topography stands on both sides of the wall and the boundary between them stops mattering. It was made for a multi-sensory programme, where light has to hold its own presence beside sound, scent and service rather than sit politely behind them.

หน้าต่างมักแบ่งเราออกจากเมือง แต่งานนี้ใช้แสงพาเมืองกลับเข้ามาในห้องงานติดตั้งแสงเฉพาะพื้นที่ที่ลากออกมาจากรูปทรงของเมืองข้างนอก เส้นขอบฟ้าย่านวิทยุ–ลุมพินี ทั้งระดับความสูง ช่องว่าง และระยะร่น ถูกลากด้วยแสงแล้วเก็บไว้ภายในห้อง
งานชิ้นนี้ทำงานสวนทางกับหน้าต่างมากกว่าจะไปด้วยกัน วิวที่ปกติจบลงตรงกระจกถูกต่อเข้ามาข้างใน ภูมิทัศน์ชุดเดียวกันจึงยืนอยู่ทั้งสองฝั่งของผนัง จนเส้นแบ่งระหว่างมันเลิกมีความหมาย งานถูกทำขึ้นสำหรับโปรแกรมที่เล่นกับประสาทสัมผัสหลายด้าน แสงจึงต้องยืนระยะของตัวเองเคียงกับเสียง กลิ่น และงานบริการ ไม่ใช่หลบอยู่ข้างหลังอย่างสุภาพ
