OVERVIEW
Some albums ask to be heard through headphones. This one asked for a quarry.A live audiovisual performance staged inside a stone quarry, with the band playing a full record and the visuals mapped onto the rock face itself.
There is no screen on site, no truss and no flat surface anywhere. The projection has to accept the quarry's own geometry — cut faces, loose scree, shadow pockets deep enough to swallow an image whole — and the visual system was built around those textures rather than in spite of them. Scale is set by the rock, not by the rig, and the same cue reads differently depending on which face it lands on.
